This Privacy Policy covers your use of Photo Privacy Sweep.

Local processing

Photo Privacy Sweep inspects and cleans photos on your Windows device. The app does not require an account and its package does not request internet access for photo inspection or cleaning.

Photos, their metadata, and cleaned outputs are not uploaded to Apps and Fun. The app has no transmitted telemetry in version 1.

Photos and metadata

The app reads only the files you add through drag and drop, a file or folder picker, or the clipboard. It uses their image data and metadata to:

  • show privacy-relevant details such as GPS, camera, dates, and author fields;
  • create clean copies in a location you choose; and
  • re-inspect those outputs to verify the result.

Your source files are never overwritten or deleted. Cleaned copies remain where you save them until you move or delete them.

Information stored on your device

Photo Privacy Sweep may keep app settings and local diagnostic or crash logs on your device. These records are not transmitted to Apps and Fun. You control them through the app, Windows app settings, and the normal uninstall process.

Accounts, advertising, and purchases

Version 1 has no accounts, advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Photo Privacy Sweep does not sell or share personal information.

Links to the Apps and Fun website or Microsoft Store may open in your browser or another Windows app. Opening a link does not attach or transmit your photos. The destination is governed by its own privacy policy.

Children

Photo Privacy Sweep does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users because it does not operate an account or transmit photo data.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The revision date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
